Root Canal Referral Service

Root canal treatment is directed towards removing inflamed or abscessed tissue within the root canal system. This space especially in molar teeth is often complex and difficult to clean well. This is why many general dentists prefer to refer these cases to a clinician who have the training, equipment and experience to deal with them well.

At Warsash Endodontics we are able to use techniques to reduce patient discomfort and anxiety during the treatment. Most patients will experience little or no discomfort during or after the procedure.

Mike Edwards has undertaken a Master’s Degree in Endodontics, which specifically involved training in the use of specialised equipment to treat difficult root canal systems and the retreatment of root canals where previous root canal treatment had failed.

Mike accepts self referrals from patients as well as referrals from dentists.
